Clematis 'Rebecca'

Early, Large flowered

Extremely free flowering, vigorous yet well-behaved clematis with stunning, star-shaped blooms of scarlet centered by creamy yellow anthers. Makes a lovely cut flower, and is an excellent variety to try in a container, or growing on an obelisk, spiral or shady fence.
Bloom Time: Late May to early June then a second flush in late fall.
Exposure: Afternoon shade best.
Water: Regular
Size: 6-8' Tall
Pruning: We recommend pruning back hard in January/February to 18” or so, and then by half after first flush of blooms to promote a new burst of blooming. Feed with a well balanced fertilizer at time of pruning.
