Late Flowering

Description: Translucent, mid-sized, pearly white flowers, veined in a very light mauve. Strikingly beautiful, this late flowering cultivar should be planted where its unique translucency can be appreciated. Backlighting! Great repeat bloomer.

Bloom Time: Summer to fall.

Exposure: Sun to part shade.

Size: 12-20' high.

Pruning: In late January or early February, cut back to around 2 feet high, to a pair of healthy buds. To promote a second flush of flowers later in the season, do the following:- After the first flush of blooms, cut back again by as much as a half. Feed at this time and sit back and wait for the show! Dead-head as necessary to keep clean and tidy.
