Clematis 'Claire de Lune'

A generous bloomer covered in stunning, white, star-shaped, lavender-tinted flowers, each centered with a cluster of deep purple anthers at bloom time. A hint of chartreuse completes the picture. Makes an excellent cut flower!

Bloom Time: Spring and again in fall, if using our favorite pruning method (see below). Size: To10' Tall. Water: Regular

Exposure: Part shade. Morning or filtered sun best. Roots in the shade, tops in the sun.

Pruning: In late winter/early spring, cut to a pair of buds about 18” from the ground. After first flush of blooms is over, cut back your vine by half, again to a pair of buds. Feed each time you prune and dead head and tidy as needed.
